Since its inception
in 1976, Martin-Simonds Associates has provided strategic planning, training
and development, market research and client survey services to over 200
of the top design firms in the United States, Canada, New Zealand and
Australia. After 22 years in Seattle, the company is now headquartered
in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
An expert in growth and diversification strategies, management and profit management, acquisitions and mergers, Mr. Simonds is a dynamic, provocative, and stimulating workshop leader.
His clients have included
firms such as Jones & Carter, Wilson & Company, Walker Parking
Consultants, HVJ Associates, EMC2 Architects, Raba-Kistner Consultants,
Carter & Burgess, Gerald Martin Construction, Montgomery Watson, and
Applied Research Associates. He also regularly leads training programs
for the Texas Council of Engineering Companies.
Gary's clients have
included Berkeley National Laboratory, Stress Engineering Services, Associated
General Contractors, and the Texas Council of Engineering Companies.
With a Ph.D. in Personality
Psychology and a Master's in Counseling Psychology, the perspective and
insight Jennifer offers brings added value to our training programs, including
the "Leadership Development Program," which identifies and develops
future leaders within firms. As an Associate Member
of the American Psychological Association and its Consulting Psychology
Division, Jennifer is licensed to administer a variety of assessment instruments
within the Leadership Development Program and in coaching relationships.
Instruments include the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the Watson Glaser
Critical Thinking Assessment, the revised NEO Personality Inventory, and
the DiSC Personal Profile System. Jennifer is also a curriculum developer
and instructor for Martin-Simonds courses including "The Art and
Science of Managing Technical Professionals Successfully," "Rainmakers:
Attracting New Business to Your Firm," and "Critical Thinking
and Decision Making for A/E Professionals."
Lynda is presently a Ph.D. candidate in Human and Organization Development. She holds a Master's Degree in Communication from the University of Washington.
